කොළඹ පාරිභෝගික මිල දර්ශකය අනුව, ගෙවුණු සැප්තැම්බර් මාසයේදී 0.5%ක අවධමනයක් වාර්තා වී තිබෙනවා. උද්ධමනය අඩු වෙනවා කියන්නේ හෙමින් හෙමින් වුනත් මිල ඉහළ යනවා කියන එක. නමුත් අවධමන තත්ත්වයක් කියන්නේ සමස්තයක් ලෙස මිල මට්ටම පහත වැටීමක්.
තෙල් මිල පහත වැටීමේ බලපෑමද සැලකූ විට මේ අවුරුද්ද අවසන් වන තුරු දිගටම අවධමන තත්ත්වයක් තියෙන්නයි ඉඩ තියෙන්නේ. මහ බැංකුවේ පුරෝකථන අනුව පේන්නෙත් ඒ තත්ත්වයයි.
මෙහි ප්‍රතිඵලයක් විදිහට මේ අවුරුද්දේ නාමික දදේනි අගය ඇස්තමේන්තුවට වඩා සැලකිය යුතු ලෙස අඩු වෙන්න පුළුවන්. එහි ප්‍රතිඵලයක් ලෙස රාජ්‍ය ආදායම්, ප්‍රාථමික අයවැය අතිරික්තය ආදිය රුපියල් වලින් ඇස්තමේන්තු මට්ටමේම තියෙද්දී වුවත්, දදේනි අනුපාත ලෙස ඇස්තමේන්තු වලට වඩා උඩට යන්න පුළුවන්.
කොහොම වුනත්, මේ වගේ තත්ත්වයක් ලොකුවට සතුටු වෙන්න පුළුවන් තත්ත්වයක් නෙමෙයි. මොකද දදේනි අනුපාතයක් ලෙස රාජ්‍ය ණය ප්‍රමාණයත් ඔය විදිහටම වැඩි වෙනවා. ඒ නිසා, රාජ්‍ය ආදායම දදේනි අනුපාතයක් ලෙස ඉලක්ක මට්ටමට ගියත්, රුපියල් වලිනුත් අවශ්‍ය ඉලක්කයට යන්නම වෙනවා.
දැනට ආණ්ඩුව විසින් අරගෙන තිබෙන වියදම් වැඩි වෙන තීරණ වන පොහොර සහනාධාරය හා ධීවරයින්ට දෙන ඉන්ධන සහනාධාරය කලින්ම සැලසුම් කර තිබුණු ඒවා බවයි වාර්තා වී තිබෙන්නේ. ඒ නිසා, තිබුණු සැලසුමට සාපේක්ෂව අමුතුවෙන් වියදම් වැඩි වීමක් නැහැ. කොහොමටත් මේ වියදම් විශාල වියදම් නෙමෙයි.
ඊට සාපේක්ෂව, රාජ්‍ය සේවක වැටුප් වැඩි කිරීම නොකරන්නේනම්, එයින් තිබුණු සැලසුමට සාපේක්ෂව සැලකිය යුතු ඉතිරියක් වෙනවා. සමහර දීමනා කප්පාදු කිරීම වගේ දේවල් වලින්නම් විශාල ඉතිරියක් වෙන්නේ නැහැ. සමස්තයක් ලෙස ගත්තහම දැනට සිදු කර තිබෙන වෙනස්කම් වලින් ඊළඟ IMF විමර්ශනයේදී ප්‍රශ්නයක් විය හැකි තරමේ දෙයක් වෙලා නැහැ.

At present, the total Value of Work done is Rs Trillion 3.00 – 4.00 (approximately) for a total debt of Rs Trillion closer to 30 or more.
Therefore newly elected NPP government needs to do everything necessary to ensure the correct procedures to be implemented and arrest Ranil Wickramasinghe along with all the culprits to acquire the stolen money including the Central Bank bond scam which is directly handled by Ranil Wickramasinghe's as the PM at the time.
